Tomas Vondra

Tomas first met PostgreSQL in 2003 and quickly became it's big fan. He was responsible for porting various applications to PostgreSQL from other databases, tuning and fixing performance issues etc. He is also one of the leaders of the Czech PostgreSQL community - a member of the executive committee of the CSPUG (Czech and Slovak PostgreSQL Users Group) and co-organizer of the annual conference P2D2 (Prague PostgreSQL Developers Day).

Tomas currently works as an engineer / performance specialist for GoodData.
