I have been working with Free and Open Source Software since 1997. I have been an organiser of the European PGDay in Prato, Italy, and I am a member of ITPUG. I started my career in Mathematics as a university researcher and a teacher, and now I work with 2ndQuadrant as a PostgreSQL consultant and trainer. My favourite PostgreSQL topics are training, database optimisation, replication, application development. I currently live in London; my other interests include drama, music, poetry and sport.
