There are many aspects and considerations when securing PostgreSQL, with several examples of best practices embodied by compliance profiles such as the PostgreSQL STIG (USA) and the PostgreSQL CIS Benchmark (international). This talk will dive deep into some example best practices from those guides, giving the audience a sense for why these practices are prescribed, and how specifically to comply.
The audience is anyone interested in security within a relational database.
