Database developers often complain about inefficient usage of Postgres by software engineers. But is it always the SE fault? What are the tools which they regularly use? Which of them are not available in Postgres? Could we make PostgreSQL more appealing by providing them with the development environment they need? This talk will present some utilities developed to assist with deployments automation and ensure that the database structures are consistent in different environments. We will also discuss some other features which application developers would like to see in PostgreSQL.
