Many times we can’t control what the applications are doing to our servers but we can do lots to make sure they can be ready for the flood. We will discuss Backups, Restores, Performance configuration, Vacuum policies, Size/Structure concerns and several other items. I’ll share free scripts you can use anytime to really understand your server. This is a great session for Dba’s, Accidental Dba’s, and anyone that is interested in understanding more about the clusters they manage.
