Ellyne Phneah is a PostgreSQL Ecosystem Strategist who specializes in the human systems behind open-source technology. She bridges the gap between deep technical innovation and the community, communication, and strategic frameworks required for its sustainable growth.
A passionate advocate for the open-source community, Ellyne is an organizer for the Malmö PostgreSQL User Group (M-PUG), where she is dedicated to creating an inclusive and engaging environment for database enthusiasts in the Nordics.
Her unique perspective is shaped by a diverse background that includes a Master's in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and over a decade of experience as a tech journalist, marketing and communications professional covering cybersecurity, cloud computing, and other emerging technologies. This allows her to connect with a wide range of audiences, which is reflected in her talks. Originally from Singapore, Ellyne is now an active and recognized voice in the European PostgreSQL community.
