SQLsmith is a random query generator inspired by Csmith. Since 2015, it uncovered over fourty bugs in PostgreSQL, including security vulnerabilities.
After motivating for random testing, the talk will cover the design of SQLsmith, testing methodology and an analysis of the nature of the bugs uncovered so far. Also, extending it and possible future work is outlined.
