Tatsuro Yamada
Tatsuro Yamada is the PostgreSQL Support Team Leader at NTT Open Source Software Center, where he provides consulting and support services for NTT group companies. He has spoken at various PostgreSQL and open-source conferences, including PGCon Japan, PGConf.Asia, PGCon, PGConf.EU, and COSCUP. He also served as a member of the PGConf.Asia organizing committee from 2017 to 2022.
He is the author of pg_plan_advsr, and a committer for several PostgreSQL extensions developed by NTT Open Source Software Center, including pg_hint_plan. In addition, he has contributed to PostgreSQL core development with features that help DBAs, such as progress reporting for CLUSTER, VACUUM FULL, and ANALYZE. He currently organizes the Japan PostgreSQL Developers Meetup, an event that promotes the growth of the PostgreSQL community by bringing together PostgreSQL committers and contributors based in Japan to discuss development and collaboration.
