Grafana is a popular choice for visualization and analytics of time series data. Prometheus is a convenient tool to collect, store and alarm on hundreds of PostgreSQL instances.

This talk will be about components, architecture, concepts and best practices from our 2 years work with the duo in the large scale mapmaking system in TomTom.
