Charles is the Group Program Manager for Postgres on Azure and leads the product management for Azure's Postgres managed services including Azure Database for PostgreSQL Single/Flexible Server and Azure Cosmos DB for PostgreSQL which is Azure's Distributed SQL platform. He is also responsible for the product management for the open source Citus database extension for Postgres. Charles has spent his career working on relational database systems, with the past decade primarily focused on distributed systems. He spends as much time as possible with customer and partners to understand their evolving requirements for Postgres workloads and uses this to steer the strategy for the platform.
