Using the PostgreSQL operator on Kubernetes

These days many PostgreSQL databases are running inside Kubernetes, Rancher or OpenShift. The way to do this is to deploy a thing called „Kubernetes operator“. This leads to the core question: How does an operator work and how can it be utilized to deploy PostgreSQL inside Kubernetes in the best way possible. This course will discuss PostgreSQL on Kubernetes, introduce the core principles and provide a deep dive into the new world of containers. For the training, we will use the CYBERTEC-PG operator, which is completely open source, including the container suite.
