A little about our speaker
Nuno Faria INESCTEC
I am a database system researcher and Invited Assistant Professor at the University of Minho (where I teach, among other things, Database Administration, with PostgreSQL). I work regularly with PostgreSQL, as it is our go-to system to research and build prototypes. I have several papers in top data management conferences (SIGMOD, VLDB), all making use of PostgreSQL.
