Autonomous Postgres: From Scripts to Self-Driving Database
Friday, October 23 at 09:00–12:30
Room: Audit 3A
Level: Intermediate
This half-day working session brings together practitioners, builders, and skeptics to explore how AI, machine learning, and automation are reshaping the way we develop, run, and scale PostgreSQL. Through a curated set of short talks and an interactive discussion, we will move beyond hype and focus on:
- What is working in production today
- Where current approaches fall short
- What “good” looks like for autonomous database systems
- What the Postgres ecosystem should prioritize next
This is not a passive session. It is a collaboration of people who want to shape the future of a key Postgres capability.
