A little about our speaker
Tino Engelbrecht Lufthansa Group Business Services
I am a software developer at Lufthansa Group, where I have been working since 2018 - initially as a consultant and, since 2022, as a core developer in my current team. My expertise has primarily centered around Java and Oracle. Beginning in 2025, I am steering the migration of several key applications to PostgreSQL and have immersed myself in the Postgres ecosystem. I am responsible for both the development and leadership aspects of our migration projects, ensuring a smooth and effective transition.
Since starting these migrations, I have actively attended various PostgreSQL conferences across Europe, learning from the community and incorporating new ideas into my daily work. Now, I look forward to giving back to the community.
Outside of work, I have practiced karate since I was six years old and also enjoy gym workouts and running, along with exploring new places on my motorcycle.
