Phillip Merrick pgEdge
Phillip has co-founded and helped run two commercial Postgres companies, EnterpriseDB and pgEdge, where he is currently CEO and Chief Product Officer. Phillip is a software developer by background, and has co-founded and/or run six enterprise software startup companies, most of which thankfully did not lose investor money and did rather OK. At webMethods he helped pioneer the use of web services and web APIs, and at EnterpriseDB helped drive enterprise adoption of Postgres back when MySQL was seemingly most developers’ favorite database.
