Somdyuti Paul Google Cloud
Som has been working on Databases for the last 23 years. He started his professional career with Oracle, and then OSS Databases beckoned him. Currently he works at Google as a Data Management Specialist focusing on MySQL and PostgreSQL Engines and migration tools. He helps customers in their migration and modernization journey to MySQL and PostgreSQL. He is passionate about Performance Tuning and Replication technologies in various database technologies and has been helping customers in running their most demanding databases with optimal performance at scale. Som lives in a beautiful town in North Yorkshire, England. He is an avid runner and loves hiking in the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District with his family.
