A little about our speaker
Gianni Ciolli EDB
I am Global Vice President, Practice Lead for High Availability at EDB, helping customers and colleagues in the implementation of highly available distributed architectures.
Before that, I worked at the University of Florence as a researcher in Mathematics.
I have been using Free Software for almost 30 years.
As a member of the Italian PostgreSQL User Group (ITPUG), I helped organising the first European PGDay in Prato, Italy (2008) and many editions of the the Italian PGDay.
I am an author of 6 editions of the PostgreSQL Administration Cookbook.
