Gerard Zuidweg OptimaData BV
Gerard Zuidweg is Managing Partner of OptimaData, a database specialist focused on PostgreSQL, and co-organiser of the PostgreSQL User Group NL. With a background in finance, he learned that in the age of cloud, the way you design and run a Postgres environment is one of the biggest levers on your cloud bill, the idea behind OptimaSure, a FinOps venture. When he's not working with databases, he's the lead singer of CoverBand B-loose.
