Welcome to the architecture of GitLab. In our talk, we will present the topology of our database ecosystem with PostgreSQL and how we manage to support over 60k TPS on the master and >1M TPS on the whole cluster. Our goals are to maintain high availability of the database and still implement new features. Also, we would like to demonstrate some of the investigation techniques that help us identify performance problems and address them quickly.
