Many people are still using Oracle and are therefore suffering. High costs, high maintenance, inflexibility and so on are just some of the things people complain about. PostgreSQL offers a good way out and can be used as a replacement for Oracle in a nice way. The question is simply: How to move to PostgreSQL? This talk shows, how to do that and where to be careful.
