Building AI applications on PostgreSQL is a hot topic these days. In this session, you will learn about the emerging set of capabilities: vector database, generative AI, and machine learning (ML). Walking through example use cases such as embedding generation, recommendation systems, and sentiment analysis, you will have a better understanding of how to use pgvector, the leading open-source vector extension for Postgres. And you’ll learn about azure_ai, a newly introduced Postgres extension that enables the use of Azure OpenAI and Azure Cognitive Services on PostgreSQL, to handle advanced AI/ML scenarios faster and directly on Azure Database for PostgreSQL.
