Avinash Vallarapu (Avi)
Avinash Vallarapu (Avi) is the CEO and Founder of HexaCluster with over 20 years of experience in Databases and Application development. Prior to HexaCluster, Avi co-founded MigOps, created and lead the PostgreSQL practice at Percona, served as a Database Architect at OpenSCG and Dell.
Avi is very passionate about contributing to PostgreSQL, especially in the field of simplifying migrations to PostgreSQL. Through HexaCluster and MigOps, Avi's leadership has enabled contributions to Ora2Pg, Orafce, pgBadger, and over 30 popular PostgreSQL extensions, some of them supporting Oracle compatibility in PostgreSQL.
Avi has immense experience in PostgreSQL Consulting, Migrations, Development, and Training. In addition to that, Avi is a Machine Learning Engineer and is currently supporting multiple advanced AI Use Cases for his customers.
