Jean-Christophe first encountered PostgreSQL in 1998 during his university studies. In 2005, he established the PostgreSQLFr association with the assistance of several other French community members. In 2008, he took the initiative in organising the inaugural PGDay.fr. In 2025, he relaunched the Local Toulouse PostgreSQL User Group with two other enthusiasts. Jean-Christophe is currently working as a PostgreSQL consultant for LOXODATA, a French company specialising in PostgreSQL.
