Daniele began his involvement in Free Software technologies with Python and PostgreSQL and the Psycopg project has been the natural point of convergence. He has been involved with psycopg2 and maintained it since the early '00s, and in 2020 he wrote the current Psycopg 3 to make the most of the current database and language features.
