Diversity Committee

Karen Jex (Chair)

Karen has worked with databases for the whole of her career, as a database administrator and various other roles. She is now a senior software engineer on the PostgreSQL extensions team at Snowflake.

Karen always wanted to “just quietly get on with techie stuff”, but for some reason she now spends much of her time giving talks about databases at PostgreSQL and developer conferences, and helping to organise PostgreSQL Conference Europe (PGConf.EU). She also seems to have accidentally become an ambassador for diversity and inclusion within the PostgreSQL community!
